Nadi Pariksha is one of Ayurveda’s most refined diagnostic sciences — a centuries-old practice deeply documented in texts like the Sharangdhara Samhita. Yet today, there are very few highly trained practitioners in India who can accurately interpret it.
Unlike conventional pulse checks that focus only on heart rate, Nadi Pariksha reads subtle patterns across the body through the radial artery. Using three fingers placed below the thumb, an Ayurvedic Vaidya assesses Vata, Pitta, and Kapha energies through multiple layers of pulse depth, rhythm, temperature, movement, and pressure sensitivity.
At Ctrl Alt Heal Sparsh Integrated Wellness Center within Pragati Resorts, Nadi Pariksha forms an important part of the wellness onboarding process — helping doctors understand deeper patterns linked to stress, digestion, sleep, energy, recovery, and long-term imbalance before therapies are recommended.
One guest recently shared how they checked in late at night, experienced a calming foot massage, and underwent Nadi Pariksha the following morning. Their reflection stayed with us:
“The doctor diagnosed all the issues, which were absolutely near to the truth.”
Sometimes healing begins not with treatment, but with being understood correctly.
